OTH Season 1 Podcast!

Don't worry, we'll get back to the current season's podcast next week (and we'll even double them up for you). Jackie is busy being fabulous in Italy, Sarah is keeping it real in Chicago and I'm sleep-deprived waiting for my flight at 4:30 A.M. in New York..so things have been a bit busy. Since we love you so much, we made sure there was at least one or two season 1 podcasts in our arsenal for a rainy day. Hopefully this podcast for Life in a Glass House will help get you through the day.

I never really cared for this episode. Too much adults, too much awkwardness. These episodes, when nothing is really formed yet, almost feels like another show.

The best part was Haley at the end in the cafe. Every time I ever saw that sign after that I thought of her doing that. So sad and such a poignant moment.

The Jake plotline was an overall good story. Can't wait to hear what you guys think of Nikki.

I hope you guys really do get through more than just once a week because it's gonna take you forever just to get to season 4 and I wanna know what guys think of the other seasons. Brooke this episode like you said Sarah was " A mega b***h" I actually didn't like her this episode, Awesome podcast. can't wait till next week

Kajal - we'll have to see how the summer goes in terms of how many podcasts we're able to pump out per week. I think all three of us would really love it if we were able to get through all of them.

Ah, yes, probably one of my least favorite Brooke episodes and definitely one of the only ones where you're not sure where her attitude's coming from, to an extent. The good things is, as you probably already know, she's sober in the next episode and fixes everything and we get to see the real Brooke come out.

I think at this point Brooke just wanted exactly what Peyton wanted from Lucas and that's fine because they're in high school and don't really know each other. It's in the next episode that they start to get to know each other, well, BL do at least and that's when emotions get involved and the story gets interesting =)

Great podcast btw!

Are you going to possibly be doubling up on these once season 5 is over?

I have to agree with everything that was said. I think that Lucas came on way too strong. I think at that point Peyton was still so used to being used by Nathan that when Lucas was saying those things it scarred her. I think/hope you will see the transformation she goes through to the end of episode 9. I really hope that you guys will see what us LPers see; Peyton needed time to process her feelings and what will happen is just really sad. (the end of episode 9)

Oops! I meant that season 3 Karen and Deb were my favorite! lol

I also wanted to add (since I just rewatched the episode right now) that I LOVED Haley's comment to Lucas - "we can't help who we like... it just happens."

Having recently seen the 100th episode, I thought back to it immediately after hearing Haley's words to Lucas.

During Lucas and Lindsey's not-so-wedding, the priest stood at the altar and said "we can't help who we love... it just happens." And the scene that was playing during those words was Brooke, teary-eyed and looking at Lucas, and then back to Brooke.

I hope there's a connection between Naley and Brucas... the couples that shouldn't have "been," but are still more "meant to be" than anyone imagined.

Hmmm... when I saw the Leyton "I want everything with you," I thought it was really sweet. And I was like mad with Peyton's reaction and said "oh so all Peyton wanted was sex?" And I started to turn away from my liking of Leyton.

And Brooke WAS mega annoying and mean, but so was Peyton for leading her to think that she could go for Lucas over and over, and then pulling it all out from under her.

All Brooke wanted at the time was probably what Peyton wanted at the time, but I'm sure you've seen the next episode. Brooke and Lucas will start to bloom! And my adoration and addiction to Brucas and abandonment of Leyton started in the next episode.

Haley crying was totally heartbreaking! And I love when Lucas came to comfort her! And it was heartbreaking again when Nathan came to talk to her and she turned the lights out and walked away!

Karen and Deb rock together! I love them the most in season 4 probably! But right now, getting under Dan's skin, it's awesome!

And Jake with his baby was super shocking and totally adorable! I personally thought he had some illness because he kept leaving things early or coming to things late.

Can't wait for your next season 1 podcast! The next episode was awesome too!
