Gossip Girl Podcast: "There Might Be Blood"
In yet another jam-packed episode, Jenny takes the New York fashion world by storm, then takes the the streets. Dan draws a lesson from his sister's success -- but it is the right one? Our favorite bad girl and boy out themselves as true romantics (after a fashion), while the golden girl continues to be confused by the attentions of her erstwhile "husband" -- is he a caterpillar, or a snake?
Jenny and Agnes plan their conquest of the fashion world, but Jenny is aghast to find out the targeted event is one that honors Bart and Lily. Will she be able to go through with it? Duh! It's a smashing success -- the only folks who don't seem delighted by the co-opting of the event are Bart and Rufus. Lily? She's thrilled!
We were plenty thrilled by the episode, although for different reasons -- which gave us lots to fight about discuss in a calm and measured fashion. Jackie continues to waver on Rufus -- yes, he's her ideal man, but she despairs at his parenting choices. Plus, now she's mad at Lily, Jenny, Blair, Dan... who isn't she angry at? And Jackie's the nice one!
In addition, the three of us debate the ethics -- and success -- of Jenny's show, ponder what's going on in Dan's head, debate Nate's dating criteria, and throw up our hands at the Serena/Aaron interaction. At least Chuck and Blair's encounters made us happy -- and who knew these two would make a case for waiting until you're in love to get naked?

Where the hell would Jenny go I mean she has no where to go well except for Nate's but he's dirt poor. Ok so I changed my mind the black eyeliner doesn't work for her anymore. But when she invaded that party that was awesome. I do agree that Jenny should be punished but jail totally over reacting, she would get eaten alive in jail.
Dan continues to annoy me he's just doing nothing for the show in my opinion. He just makes it boring but in defense for him Nate did kiss Serena, Vanessa and Jenny all that are close to Dan. I do feel like sorry for Vanessa but he seems like the upper east side pimp. lol But Chuck he's just trying to help him I mean all he did was bad mouth Dan which Dan does deserve.
Ok don't like Serena and don't like Aaron this episode. Aaron just seemed so full of himself. I hope this storyline is over soon.
I really hope Chuck gets his revenge on Dan because his whole college situation thing kinda remds me of The Gilmore Girls.
Blair OMG I so wanted her to blackmail her and just shut her up. lol
great podcast

Have to disagree. Lily all the way. Rufus is a horrible father. He's sooooooooooo booooring, so is the actor. He has no presence. That stupid move to send Jenny to jail was laughable. I'm not a fan of Jenny and her social climbing from season 1 but she is a lot more interesting than Vanessa and her high and mighty act. The previous episode, she guilted Dan into jeopardizing Blair and stupid Dan who could have told her that he already promised Serena to help like any smart person would do went back on his word. Vanessa ruined her chance with Nate by not trusting Blair because she thinks she's better than all of them. Dan is so boring as always and as high and mighty as ever. Guess it runs in the Humphery men. Nate is a whore with no personality of his own. I can't find the words to describe him to someone. There isn't. He doesn't sound sincere when he gets all righteous. I don't buy that all of a sudden he's in love with Jenny. Although she controls him better than any one else. He has been jumping from one girl to the other. He had the nerve to accuse Blair of cheating on him when he's the whore. Did i say Dan was annoying? Blair and Chuck were as interesting as always. I can't wait till Chuck crushes Dan.
I wonder who is going to sleep with who, be friends with who, or hate who next week. They seem to interchange love/hate between the characters every week.

I love your podcasts!!
Anyway, did you ever notice that they all have their licsenses?! First, Dan has his from last year when he took Serena and her family to his house for Thanksgiving, and now, Mr. Annoying Nate Archibald has his! When does he have time to get his permit and everything when his parents are never there and he and his friends are always out! And since when do our UEP's have cars in New York City?! Did he learn to drive from his limo!!
Sorry I was rambling, but I just thought that was pretty strange!
Can't wait for next week!

Great podcast!
Sarah, dont worry cause I completely agree with you!
Vanessa could cry me a river, I dont care.
she was being all stupid and whiny and I did NOT
feel bad for her.
Like I posted on the recap for the episode,
Nate & Jenny were amazing like always,
their cute smiles at each other when the show
was going on was adorable,
and they both looked hot together.
Unfortunately, I can't agree with Jackie & Mia.
Jennys show was def awesome,
that trend now-a-days is very popular,
most girls my age (18) are dressing type
of punk and teenager style.
Like for school and stuff, it was very
realistic.
And I'm interesting to see what the letter says,
the ending was sad :(
