TV Gal Speaks!

TV Gal
It's customary for most TV critics to honor their favorite TV series, actors, moments, quotes. This year is no different. However, our favorite TV critic, Zap2it.com's TV Gal, has set aside some slots on her lists for The CW. Most notably, she honors Veronica Mars (Jason Dohring as Logan Echolls in the Best Character category, Best Show) and Everybody Hates Chris (Best Show).

Check out all her lists for the lowdown on what was hot on the tube this past year:

* Best Characters

* Best Shows

* Best Moments

* Best Quotes

Who were your favorite characters on The CW this year? Which shows really kept you on the edge of your seats? What do you think were the biggest small screen moments on The CW in '06?

Veronica Mars: More Deaths to Come!

We've still got a while to go before new Veronica Mars episodes, so we thought we'd give you some news to tide you over. Coming later this week: catch the cast in other roles!

Accolades from TV Gal
Zap2It's TV Gal picks Veronica Mars as one of the best things on television: "Even a mediocre episode of "Veronica Mars" is better than most things on television. I'd name it one of the best shows on television based on last May's finale alone."

From one Kristen to another (Kristin)
Plus, Kristen Bell spills some secrets to E!Online's Kristin: "Oh, you have not seen the end of the deaths. I don't want to say murders or deaths, but I'll say this: More people kick the bucket before this season is over. You think, How could we possibly? But, we do."

Who do you think will die before the end of Season Three?

Veronica Mars: We'll Get You Through The Hiatus

We’re digging in for our long, hard winter hiatus without new episodes of Veronica Mars. Sob! We know it’s tough, but we’ll do what we can to make the weeks until January 23 fly by sharing news, gossip, snark and other tidbits we pick up along the way. Enjoy!

Get the scoop
E!Online’s Kristin talks to producer and show creator Rob Thomas about what to expect from the rest of the season. Apparently, they’re moving away from the third long mystery arc: “There has been talk—more than talk—about dropping the whole big mystery idea after this middle mystery and to do all stand-alone episodes and sort of a combination of a few things. The network is behind it, and I am interested in heading in that direction.” We have to admit, we’re disappointed. What do you think?

Give Kristen a call
Do you have a little – ok, a lot – of spare cash lying around? You could buy yourself a 10-minute Skype phone conversation with Kristen Bell. Our intrepid heroine is participating in the ebay auction to raise money for The Young Storytellers Foundation, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of elementary school children by increasing literacy, building self-esteem, and celebrating each child’s creativity through mentoring the children in the art of storytelling. No word on whether she’ll be giving out hints on who killed Dean O’Dell. The bidding ends on December 10, so start scraping your pennies together!

Critical acclaim for Logan
Zap2It columnist TV Gal singles out Logan Echolls as one of the 10 most compelling characters on TV today. Her rationale: “Logan is more that just a bad boy with a heart of gold. Played wrong, we would never want our Veronica with him, but my heart broke for Logan in last week's episode.” We couldn’t agree more.
